Despite being a relatively young initiative, Rivers of Jannah has already made a meaningful impact by delivering sustainable water projects to underprivileged communities around the world. By working closely with local leaders and prioritizing innovative, long-term solutions, Bilal and his team are building a strong foundation for lasting change. Zahid Khan
Vice President
Zahid Khan is a British Pakistani who worked as a youth soccer coach for Sheffield United. Leaving the UK 34 years later he moved to serve the Muslim Association of Virginia as a Youth Director. After 33 years of teaching, and retiring his passion for being a soccer coach continues.
Barat Jaan
Director
Barat Jaan has spent 35 years teaching martial arts to children, raising their confidence, focus and physical abilities by graduating over 2000 black belts in New Jersey. Barat, a 7 degree black belt and the owner of Eagle Martial Arts, has also trained law enforcement agencies in NJ.
Waleed Tawfik
Director
Mr. Waleed Tawfik is in the technology sector of the Healthcare industry & works as an IT Manager by profession. He served as a Youth Counselor & Coordinator of Islamic Events in New York. Waleed is also a student of knowledge and among the first batch of graduates from the AlMaghrib Institute.
